Ranch Camp
Riverside’s basic horse camp will develop each rider’s horsemanship skills. Campers will be guided in daily ranch experiences while still being involved in main camp activities. Our qualified wranglers will provide a safe and exciting environment to learn. The skills taught/reinforced will include but are not limited to: hands-on ground classes that teach grooming, saddling, and leading while focusing on horse safety. Arena classes will provide fun-filled opportunities for each individual to improve their skills while on horseback. Scenic trail rides in God’s creation are always a favorite aspect of ranch camp – campers will continue to apply their riding abilities and build confidence as we explore the camp grounds on horseback. Our goal at the Riverside Ranch is that campers will have an awesome time while being filled with the hope of Jesus Christ!
Optional Extras:
Ranch Care Package ($27) – This includes our summer ranch t-shirt (Let us know if you would rather have your child receive the summer t-shirt.), an accessory item, and a certificate for a free food and drink item at the camp store.
Summer Theme Nalgene Water Bottle ($17)
Birthday Cookies ($13) – We will make enough homemade chocolate chip cookies for your child’s entire cabin to help celebrate their birthday!
Slingshot Paintball ($10) – Your camper will enjoy three to four, 10-minute games of slingshot paintball during free time. (This is only for junior high weeks and high school week.)
