Our camp experiences are focused on providing all campers with an incredibly fun and relational Christ-centered camp experience. All of these camp offerings are programmed with the goal of allowing campers to hear about and experience the extravagant love of God, along with a desire to lead all people to faith in our risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Our facilities are available to enhance the ministry of the local church year-round for church gatherings, youth group/college ministry retreats, board retreats, men’s/women’s retreats, family camp retreats, and more.
At Riverside, we want all of what we do to reflect the radical love of Jesus Christ. He is at the core of all of our decisions, programming, and visionary planning for camp.
The powerful reach of the ministry of Riverside is largely dependent on the generous partners we have through congregational and individual giving. Every gift of time and/or money contributes to the efforts of “Making Christ Known” in so many meaningful ways through Riverside Bible Camp.
Actually, it isn’t about us. It is about the God we serve. But, in case you’re wondering about some basics.
History
History
Riverside Lutheran Bible Camp – Est. 1943
Riverside was established in 1943 thanks to the extraordinary vision of Pastor A.J. Bringle. Ever since then, Riverside has been a place of worship, rest, community, experiencing the Holy Spirit, and growing in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Tens of thousands of people have been impacted by the ministry here, along the banks of the Skunk River, just north of Story City, Iowa. Check out a video that was created by the grandchildren and great-grandchildren of Pastor Bringle for our 75th Anniversary Celebration, as well as some photos of the past. If you have any old stories, photos, or videos to share about Riverside, be sure to let us know!

From its early years, people have been as generous as possible in order to move the vital ministry of camp forward. Would you please consider how you might partner with IPoint over the next 36 months as we move forward in faith with this important project?
Give to the Max day is on November 17, 2022. Would you consider giving a generous gift to help Inspiration Point hire and train 68 more staff next summer and construct a multi-level high ropes course.
If you’ve ever wondered how you might share in the ministry, this might be the way. These may be items you have around your home or can easily pick up at a nearby store.
