Story: Ellie joined the Riverside team as Ranch Ministries Director in May 2026 after graduating from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and a minor in Equine Science and Management.
Originally from Wheaton, Illinois, Ellie began college with plans to become a large-animal veterinarian, but God had a different plan for her. She feels incredibly blessed to be serving on Riverside’s full-time year-round team, where she can combine her love for horses with her passion for sharing the Gospel and teaching others about God’s creation.
In her free time, Ellie enjoys being outdoors, painting, spending time with family and friends, and playing with her three dogs, Annie, Mo, and Goose. Her favorite parts of serving at Riverside are worshipping, building meaningful relationships, and using horses to show others just how deeply they are loved by their Heavenly Father.
