Our camp experiences are focused on providing all campers with an incredibly fun and relational Christ-centered camp experience. All of these camp offerings are programmed with the goal of allowing campers to hear about and experience the extravagant love of God, along with a desire to lead all people to faith in our risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Our facilities are available to enhance the ministry of the local church year-round for church gatherings, youth group/college ministry retreats, board retreats, men’s/women’s retreats, family camp retreats, and more.

Story: Cheri joined the Riverside team as Associate Director in March 2019. She lives with her husband, Craig, just north of Story City. Craig and Cheri have three adult children who all grew up as campers and staffers at Riverside – Shelby, Maddie, and Jacob. Cheri happens to be a registered nurse who transitioned her 20+ year career in long-term care administration to camp operations! Cheri has been a volunteer nurse at Riverside for 15+ years before coming to work at camp full-time. Cheri loves art and music and when she is not working or hanging out with her awesome family, she is a freelance jazz bassist and also helps to lead worship at Harvest Vineyard Church. She enjoys having all of her family nearby and really loves traveling.
