October Update

Greetings from Riverside! Recently I was talking with some past campers from many years back about their time at Riverside. Their memories were vivid of their experience: what cabin they were in, food they ate, look of the Chapel, counselors they had, and how the Holy Spirit moved in their lives. Hearing stories of how God changed the trajectory of peoples lives at camp never gets old. See what kind of love the Father has given, bestowed upon us; that we shall be called children of God. It's our prayer that all people whom the Lord leads here for a purpose, know, experience, and see the love of our heavenly Father on full display. Thank you for your continued partnership in the Gospel and seeing Jesus change lives for the better!

A few other updates from around camp:

Golf Classic. We had an incredible day out at Ames Golf and Country Club for our 20th annual Fall Golf Classic. Thanks to our 20 hole sponsors, our anonymous event sponsor, and 120 golfers, the Lord provided over $24,000 towards the continued Christ-centered ministry of Riverside through this fun-filled event! Make plans to join us next year at Ames Golf and Country Club for our 2024 Golf Classic on Friday September 27, 2024!

Now Hiring: Communications Coordinator. We are beginning the search process for a new full-time position on our team. This important member of our team will work to ensure even greater communication and engagement with our congregations, families, individuals, campers, Riverside partners, and those who haven't yet heard of the ministry of Riverside. We're excited to see who the Lord will lead our direction to join our great year-round team! For more information on the position, click here!

Giving Tuesday and Christmas Party.

For many years now, we've hosted an on-site Giving Tuesday event on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. This year, we are going to try something a little different. Giving Tuesday will not include an onsite event this year, but we are adding an onsite Christmas Party for people of all ages on Sunday night, December 10- a free-will offering event that will be a blast! Join us online for Giving Tuesday (November 28) to hear and see testimonies of the Lord's work through Riverside, and the opportunity to respond in giving towards the continued mission of Riverside.
