March Update

Dear friends in Christ,
Our prayer at Riverside is that all people would know and experience the great, extravagant love with which God loves us, that even in the midst of our brokenness and sin, we can experience the abundant life, forgiveness, and grace found in Christ Jesus alone! As we continue to lead great upcoming retreats and programs here this spring and look towards another great summer of camp, know that this is our prayer for not just our participants, but for the whole world! Here are a few updates from around camp this month:
Gala Fundraiser on April 5. You do not want to miss this incredibly fun night supporting the ministry of Riverside! Our Gala team is doing a great job putting together a great night– all centered around supporting the continued mission and vision of Riverside! If you haven't registered, there's still space for a night of delicious food, silent/live auction, music, and celebration. I'll be there and sure hope to see you there as well!
A great Marriage Retreat! What a joy it was for my wife and I to join 30 other incredible couples for a weekend full of rest, laughter, delicious food, encouragement and challenge from God's Word, fun, worship, and a very special date night experience. If you joined us, we're so glad you did. If you didn't, make plans to get away with us next year– you won't regret it! Dates for next year are February 27-March 1, 2026!
Summer Camp Preparations 2025. After summer camp 2024 was completed, our team was already beginning to pray and prepare for summer 2025! There’s already over 1,200 campers registered for summer camp (including Family Camp), and we still have space for many more! We continue to pray year after year that the Lord would lead exactly who He wants here each summer, and we invite you to pray the same with us. If you know someone on the fence about coming to camp, maybe due to finances/schedules/worry of homesickness, we encourage you to invite us into that process with you to talk through details and pray for you. Also, please continue to pray for us as we seek to fill out our amazing summer staff– it's definitely a summer experience that will be life-changing and unforgettable!

Mortvedt Hall roof project will be starting here soon. Come see it this spring/summer and if the coffee shop is open, make sure to grab a delicious smoothie– Mango is my favorite!
We're continuing in the process of hiring three important full-time, year-round positions: Development Director, Guest Ministries Coordinator, and Program Coordinator.
As the weather warms up, the number of volunteer opportunities grows! Join us to serve for a morning, an afternoon, a full day, a few days, or even a week of the summer if it works for you. Opportunities include light maintenance/cleaning, painting, mowing/trimming, landscaping, kitchen help, office help, and more. Please contact us if you're interested!
We’re looking for more horses! Our ranch is a special place on camp and we're in need of a few more horses as we look ahead toward a busy summer. If you or someone you may know have a horse you'd be willing to donate or sell to the ministry, please let us know! They will have an outstanding home at camp with our great team and be a blessing to so many people.
