About the Riverside 5K
2023 Riverside 5K - Saturday, August 5
Come join us for another year of the Riverside 5K Run/Walk. Enjoy the beautiful grounds of Riverside while supporting the ministry of Riverside Bible Camp! Registration is $30. Over 100 participants gather every year for this friendly competition. Awards are handed out to the overall winners, as well as each age group for men & women. We also have a competitive team competition, where churches compete for the prestigious Church's Cup! (See pic below.) This year we will have a NEW scoring system! Points will be awarded to churches for number of participants as well as points for each age group winner! Will anyone be able to take down the current cup holders from Lutheran Church of Hope - Ames? Cross country teams or other running groups are welcome to compete for the 1st place team medals, but they are not eligible to win the Church's Cup.
Following the race, participants enjoy fellowship and breakfast items and ice-cold beverages. After all of the festivities, participants and their families are welcome to swim in the beautiful Riverside pool! If you have any questions, be sure to email Chris Dahl at Chris@RiversideLBC.org.

R5K Schedule (subject to change)
7:30 - 8:15 am: Check-in & Registration at the Dining Hall (3001 Riverside Rd. Story City, IA 50248)
8:30 am: Race Time (Start & Finish are in front of the Chapel)
9:20 am: Awards Ceremony
9:30 - 11:30 am: Open swim at the Riverside pool (This is available to any runners and their families after the race. The pool house also has showers available for runners who would like to shower off.)
10:30am- Outdoor worship
11:30 am - 12:30 pm: Lunch in the Dining Hall (free-will offering)
